In Search of Impact

The Sunwealth team will take to the road over the next few weeks. On October 31, 2017, Sunwealth CEO Jon Abe will be a guest at SolarWakeup Live! Boston at Cambridge Innovation Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Next, the Sunwealth team will be at the SRI Conference in San Diego, California from November 1 – 3, 2017. Finally, On November 9, 2017, Sunwealth COO Ryan Dings will be a panelist at the New England Impact Investing Initiative’s roundtable event, Impact Investing: The Tough Questions.

As we participate in and attend these events, we find ourselves in search of impact – in three parts.

First, we are searching for impact investors. We are on the hunt for folks who are interested in joining our incredible community of socially responsible investors. As we look to 2018, we have the opportunity to notably increase the size of the Solar Impact Fund. The high performing commercial solar projects are there. Now, we simply need to expand our investor community – and welcome new investors ready to generate market-rate returns and meaningful impact.

Second, we are searching for impact investments. Commercial solar is where we focus – because it has the power to combat climate change, strengthen communities, and support the transition to a clean energy economy. But we are excited to experience other asset classes and see what other impact investment firms are doing to make an impact. We want to learn from others. And we want to support them: strong partnerships across impact asset classes will only strengthen the impact investment ecosystem.

Third, we are searching for impact inspiration. Nobody said this was easy work, but it sure is rewarding. We are excited to hear inspirational stories of how investors are profiting with a purpose, and we look forward to sharing our own.

Join us at one of these upcoming events – and feel free to reach out in advance and start the conversation! We look forward see old friends, making new ones, and sharing the Sunwealth story.
