Powering Community with Clean Energy

In 2021, Sunwealth partnered with Centerboard, a Lynn, MA-based nonprofit human services organization with a mission to revitalize communities by investing in its people and places, and Woburn, MA-based developer Boston Solar to install solar across fourteen multifamily housing buildings in Centerboard's portfolio.

Centerboard’s CEO, Mark DeJoie, recently spoke about the partnership, stating, “Solar is the future and this will help save on electricity costs so we can continue providing care to families in Lynn and Essex County. We are proud to be going solar.”

These projects, totaling 134 kW, will provide Centerboard with lifetime energy savings of over $200,000 and will reduce over 2,500 metric tons of carbon emissions.
