Eversource Discount Rate - R2/R4
Massachusetts Eversource Discount Rate Program
Eversource offers a discount rate program for qualifying subscribers. Once this rate is applied, subscribers save about 40% on their monthly Eversource electric bill. Additionally, the bill payer is automatically qualified for Sunwealth’s community solar program.
Eligible Programs
If you participate in any of the programs listed below, you may be eligible for the Eversource discount rate. Eligibility is not limited to these programs, any means tested public benefit programs can provide eligibility. Applicants must also not have a household income level over 60% of the estimated state median income.
For programs listed with an asterisk (*), you must enclose a copy of an eligibility letter with your application.
How to Apply
Download the Discount Rate Application from Eversource’s website. This application can be found here: https://www.eversource.com/content/residential/account-billing/payment-assistance/discount-rate.
Complete the application and attach a copy of any supporting documents.
How to Submit Application
There are three ways you can submit your application. If you are having any trouble submitting the required information, you can reach out to the Sunwealth team for assistance.
Log into your Eversource portal and select Upload Documents in the menu on the bottom of the page.
Mail the application to Eversource, 247 Station Drive, MW200 Westwood, MA 02090-9909.
Fax the information to 781-441-8512.
