Boston Globe Spotlights Centerboard's Solar Portfolio

A core element of our mission is helping nonprofit and community service organizations — which are often integral pieces in the fabric of a community — take advantage of clean energy and its accompanying benefits.

In 2021, we partnered with Lynn-based nonprofit Centerboard to develop solar for their portfolio of low-income multi-family housing buildings, and these projects were highlighted this past weekend in The Boston Globe.

The portfolio of 14 rooftop solar projects, developed in partnership with Boston Solar, will save Centerboard hundreds of thousands of dollars in energy costs over the project’s lifetime, helping to enable them to continue to serve their community for years to come. Supporting organizations like Centerboard in their efforts to power their mission with clean energy is just one of the many reasons why we do what we do.
